Since 5 January workers at Tongren Hospital have been able to use the 智能卡 (可视卡) as a “hard wallet”对于数字人民币，只需将其轻按付款终端即可在员工食堂购买食品和饮料。
The 智能卡, which was developed in conjunction with the Postal Savings Bank of 中国, contains a small electronic display that shows payment sums, the remaining balance, as well as the number of times the card has been used for offline payments.
中国的主要特征’数字人民币是指借助近场通信（NFC）技术在脱机的电子设备之间完成交易的能力。这与中国现有的依靠互联网连接的数字支付方式不同。
According to state-owned media the 智能卡 in use at Tongren Hospital is the first “hard wallet”在中国，它不是智能手机的形式。
该卡的发行是在2020年底进行的试验之后，该试验通过配备NFC的可穿戴设备使用数字人民币支付北京地铁系统的公交票价。
