了华为 Teams up with China Merchants Bank to Launch Database Innovation Lab

Chinese telecommunications giant 了华为 and joint-stock lender China Merchants Bank (CMB) have launched a new facility for data innovations.

On 18 June 了华为 and CMB participated in the sign-unveiling ceremony for their “下一代数据库联合创新实验室” (新一代数据仓库联合创新实验室).

根据华为的说法，新实验室的目标是“共同创建一个企业数据库平台，该平台将在未来十年内成为技术领导者，并为金融科技建立新的基准。”

了华为’的GaussDB云数据库于2011年开始运行，目前为全球500多个行业的大规模客户提供服务，这些行业包括金融，政府和电信行业。
